From 7:00 to 8:09 UTC on July 15, 2026, we observed an issue external to Airwallex impacting payment transactions with Mastercard 3DS authentication. As of 8:09 UTC, this issue is resolved and all affected systems are restored to full functionality.

Monitoring

We have confirmed the cause of disruption in 3DS authentication is external to Airwallex. We are in contact with Mastercard and monitoring closely.

Investigating

Starting from 07:00 UTC, we have observed an issue resulting in Mastercard transactions not being able to trigger or complete 3DS authentication. Initial investigation suggests the issue is external to Airwallex. We will provide an update as soon as more information is available.
